Better product photos with just your phone

Knitwear on a clothing rack

You don't need a studio to take photos that sell. A phone, a window and a few minutes of setup go a long way.

Use soft daylight

Place your product near a large window, out of direct sun. Soft light shows texture and true color without harsh shadows. Turn off the flash.

Keep the background simple

A plain wall, a sheet of paper or a clean table keeps attention on the product. Use the same background for every product so your store looks consistent.

Shoot the essentials

  • A straight-on photo that shows the whole product
  • A detail shot of materials or texture
  • The product in use, so customers can picture it in their life

Hold steady and tap to focus

Rest your elbows on a table or use a small stand, then tap the product on screen to set focus and brightness.

Edit lightly

Straighten, crop and brighten a little. Keep colors true, because returns often happen when a product looks different in person.

Tip: in your zeyweb admin you can drag photos to reorder them. The first photo is the one customers see in your store.
